Our Government signed the National Broadband plan on Tuesday, 19 November 2019, described by An Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar as “the biggest investment in rural Ireland ever”.
He said: "This contract means that every home, school, farm and business in Ireland will get access to high speed broadband. No part of the country will be left behind in securing the jobs and opportunities of the future. And as we know, the future is already here in our daily lives with online access offering ever more opportunities for living and working.”
At Irish Country Living, we wanted to ask rural dwellers about their broadband coverage. Are you able to work from home?
In this time of uncertainty, businesses are relying on the internet to stay afloat. Indeed, the use of the internet is providing vulnerable people with the vital resources they need to remain safe in their homes, and helping families to stay connected. But is this the case for everyone? How many people are being left out?
If you are lucky enough to have access to the internet at home, could you please take one minute to complete the survey below?
Create your own user feedback survey
We understand that not everyone does have access to the internet. If you know someone in this sitatuion, could you direct them to page 19 in this week’s Irish Country Living and fill in the questionnaire? They can then simply take a picture of the completed survey and send it to 086-7814340 via WhatsApp or text message.
We will keep you posted with the results.
