The 2023 Energy and Farm Business Show will take place at Gurteen College, Co Tipperary, on 20 July 2023.
This event focuses on alternative ways farmers and landowners can add value and diversification to their enterprises through exploring energy, hospitality, leisure, food and tourism options.
The three key areas focused on during the 2022 programme were: energy, farm business options and land use change with sustainability.
This extensive agenda incorporating chief policymakers, industry leaders, farmers and landowners provided insights and advice to attendees on the day.
As new policy and market changes make diversification into energy, tourism and value-added food production a realistic option, there are many opportunities for Irish farmers and landowners to explore different income and value-added sources to their enterprise.
Farm diversification offers the potential to improve the economic returns to farm businesses and thereby contributes to both the longer-term viability of the farm business and farm household.
The 2023 Energy and Farm Business show will cover many key areas, resourcing farmers and land owners with extensive knowledge and information on the industry.

Attendees at this training event will be eligible to receive a certificate of attendance on request from TUS. Approved for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) by the Irish Planning Institute (five credits).
This event is organised through a collaboration between Teagasc, Tipperary County Council, the Irish Farmers Association, Tipperary Energy Agency, Gurteen College, and TUS Midlands Midwest.
