Lakeland Dairies will hold its annual general meeting (AGM) online at 11am on Wednesday 2 December and has written to all farmer members inviting them to register.
The co-op’s AGM is usually an in-person meeting, but ongoing recommendations and restrictions that are in place to support public health during the current pandemic crisis will see it move online.
Lakeland Dairies CEO Michael Hanley said: “It’s very important for Lakeland Dairies to hold an AGM for members to gather and review the business of their society and, while the clear preference would be to hold a physical meeting, this is not possible due to the current crisis where the health and safety of our members, milk producers, staff and communities is our number one priority.
“The online meeting will contain all of the usual business of a physical AGM and we are encouraging members to register and attend.”
