Castlecomer Discovery Park in Kilkenny has plenty of Easter-themed activities to entertain kids over the break. On Easter Sunday the Easter Egg Hunt sees kids looking through the woods for egg shapes. Once they’ve found them all, they can claim a delicious prize. From 10am to 4pm, the hunt costs €10 per family.

For more Easter bunny fun, take the trail with your family and find clues to fill in the blanks to a well-loved bunny story. Open from 28 March to 12 April, finish the trail by 4pm to claim another tasty treat. Humpty Dumpty will also be taking up residence in the park for the Easter season, and you and your family can enjoy hot cross buns and Easter cupcakes at Jarrow café.
