Take to the Sky

Marking the 70th anniversary of the first commercial transatlantic flight at the airport, Shannon Airport will host an air display extravaganza on Saturday 18 July. With an estimated attendance of over 40,000, this will provide an excellent chance to see leading aerobatics, helicopters, jet fighters and stunt fliers during the six-hour event. The family day out has something for everyone, including aircraft and tank displays, live music, face-painting, magicians and much more.
