The Bushtown Hotel in Coleraine will host a double day of country dancing on Sunday and Monday, 13 and 14 July. Fans of Johnny Brady can look forward to a double helping as the Antrim man and his band are playing both nights. They will feature some of the best in country music, embroidered with a flavouring of ’60s’ numbers and a smattering of standards.

It’s a musical menu that has stood Johnny in good stead since he embarked on his full-time singing career.

“We know that people are travelling from a wide area and we want to make sure they have a truly memorable time at the Bushtown House Hotel Country Festival,” says Johnny.

The popular Bitz ‘N’ Pieces, comprising Gerry and Barry Devlin, are also on the Sunday show, while dj Stephen Doherty will be in action on both nights. Jackson Rox, an outfit that is building a big following, are also performing at the festival. Bushtown House host Kieran McGilligan, well-known to many on the country circuit from his own days of performing, looks forward to welcoming country followers to the popular venue.

Admission to the dance is £12. For bookings, call 028-70358367 (048-70358367 from the South).
