She later waits at the Bistro for him to show up, but it soon becomes clear that she is being left at the altar. Meanwhile, Carla is unimpressed when Aidan is distracted at work, but is later stunned when his dad and sister burst into the factory. Elsewhere, Roy buys tickets to a concert for himself and Cathy, but then decides to take Ken instead.

Elaine’s new man, Jason, makes himself at home at The Vic, but Linda isn’t happy about it, and she is more stunned when she and Mick hear a noise downstairs and find him and Babe taking each other’s clothes off. Meanwhile, Ian promises Jane he will make things right and writes her a letter. When Jane wakes to find an empty bed and reads the letter, she realises he is going to attempt suicide. Can she save Ian?

Adam and Victoria record their video for Johnny, while Vanessa dreads the thought of spending another day at the hospital. Later on, Johnny’s incubator alarm goes off and Adam is terrified, but Vanessa is nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Pollard gives David a cheque for the damage to the shop, insisting they won’t have to cross paths again, but is that what he really wants? Elsewhere, Cain continues to resist being a father to Kyle, and is furious when he discovers Kyle knows that he is his dad.

Andy puts Pete’s life at risk as he lets his anger get the better of him.

Deirdre, Jo and Dermot say their goodbyes as they head off to America. Jo and Deirdre patch things up, relieved that the accident led to the discovery of Ben’s illness. Meanwhile, neither Niamh nor Paul are admitting their feelings for each other. When they almost kiss, Paul starts to make plans for them to be a family again, but Niamh balks at the pressure. Elsewhere, Ama reveals to Shane that the weekend they spent together was her first time.

Niamh is shocked when Adam attempts to run her over with his mum’s car, and in revenge she keys the car, not realising there is a security camera. Meanwhile, Vince comforts Bobbi Lee in the aftermath of Lee’s death and realises she has feelings for him. Elsewhere, Berni becomes suspicious of Laoise’s motives when she discovers she’s staying at the B&B rent free, but is stunned when Peadar and Máire tell her that Laoise is his daughter.
