Fleming Agri-Products Ltd has introduced a new high output slurry-mixing pump to the Irish market for 2015. The SP100 is a fully galvanised mixing unit for farms with no requirement for a top-fill facility.

The new pump is designed for mixing only and it incorporates a smooth-line piping arrangement.

Flemings claims that the reduced turbulence in the slurry flow creates higher output, with improved mixing capability that reduces the horsepower and fuel requirement.

According to Fleming Agri-Products Ltd, the SP100 will be offering a high flow rate at over 13,600 litres per minute, with a low power requirement at 80hp, in a machine that has a compact design.

The manufacturer also states that there is no requirement to remove the PTO shaft when in the transport position. When in working position, the SP100 has an hydraulic linkage for precision control for entering mixing points, multi-positioning facility for flow directional control, with a capability of mixing variable depth tanks and lagoons.

Fleming Agri-Products also claims that its unique impeller design gives greater slurry intake and minimises the possibility of blockages.

The SP100 is fitted with a heavy-duty gearbox, with shear bolt protected drive line. It is fitted with oversized marine bearings to ensure a positive streamline flow. The unit is fitted with double jaw lift arm facility.

The machine is expected to cost €2,800, plus VAT.
