Merlo Turbofarmer TF33.7
McHale Plant sales is to unveil the Merlo Turbofarmer TF33.7 telescopic loader. The Italian-built loader produces 115hp and has a 40km/h transmission.
The 6.5t machine has a maximum lift capacity of 3.3t which reduces to a very impressive 2.6t at maximum lifting height of 6.6m.
Four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering are standard, as is a reversing engine fan to keep things cool in dusty environments by blowing out the radiator with the press of a button.
The cab on these machines is also pressurised, giving optimum operator comfort during work.
Similar to this machine but smaller, the Merlo P27.6 will also be on the McHale stand. This is a more compact machine with a lot of similarities to the TF33.7.
It too comes with a 6m boom, 25km/h transmission and maximum engine power of 75hp. The 4.9t machine has a maximum lift capacity of 2.7t which reduces to a respectable 1.75t at full reach.

JCB 419s
JCB will have the first Irish exhibition of its 419s Agri articulated loading shovel as tested earlier this year by the Irish Farmers Journal.
This replaces the JCB 418s.
There are already a few units operating in Ireland but, according to Colin Doherty of ECI JCB, the company wants to make sure as many people as possible see the most recently launched model. Max power from the six-cylinder Cummins engine is up 5% to 183hp and the loader weighs 10,613kg.
To meet the latest emissions rules, an Ad-Blue injecting SCR system is used. A six-speed ZF transmission provides torque converter lock-up in all gears for climbing the steepest of silage pits. Top road speed is 48 km/h and the loader can run on 750/65 R26 wheels.
The cab on this model is 15% bigger with a lot more glass for greater visibility. The optional boom suspension can be programmed to engage above a certain speed and adjustment of auxiliary oil flow can be made from the new in-cab controls.
The new joystick and multi-lever hydraulic control feature a thumb-operated shuttle switch with proportional control of all loader functions.

Bobcat TL34.65HF
Adare farm machinery is to have its first showing of the Bobcat agri telehandler, the TL34.65HF. This has a maximum capacity of 3.4t to 6.42m.
To lift this, a 190-litre/minute load-sensing hydraulic pump is fitted with Bobcat high-flow technology giving you extra power when you need it.
When all hydraulic functions are used simultaneously, the quick start and flow-sharing give full output immediately. The in-house manufactured turbo-charged Bobcat D34 diesel engine is Stage IV, Tier 4 final compliant.
A reassuring point about the new Bobcat is it comes with a three-year warranty.
A hydrostatic transmission is fitted with a novel feature called speed management system.
This allows for a consistent engine RPM to be maintained with variable forward speed possible.
