Slurry equipment manufacturer SlurryKat will be unveiling a new range of lightweight dribble bars at the Ploughing. They are designed to be retrofitted on to existing tankers or new units.
SlurryKat has designed the dribble bar so that detachment time takes less than five minutes leaving the tanker back in its original form with splash plate and rear filling valves exposed at either side. Accessibility is not affected with the attachment as both splash plate and rear filling valves are accessible without having to change the rear inspection hatch. The dribble bar can also be fitted to other tankers with similar arrangement or with rear linkage. Either way there is no need for any modifications.
Spring-back booms
The bar comes in 7.5 metre and 9 metre versions. Each unit is incorporated with the Vogelsang distribution head macerator. Various options including spring-back booms to protect the machine are available if required. The 9 metre version has hydraulically powered telescopically extending booms which activate during the unfolding process. This reduces the height of the machine when folded for transport.
SlurryKat will also have its full machinery range on display over the three days of the National Ploughing Championships.
The company will be located at Ploughing 2018 stand number 501, row 23, block 2.
