Abbey Machinery once again is making a return to Ratheniska with a selection of new products from its slurry handling equipment ranges. New innovations include a brand new flexi-shoe hybrid trailing shoe design, alongside a new 2050PR slurry tanker complete with the firm’s Agri Pro trailing shoe.
According to the Co Tipperary manufacturer, the new 2050PR tanker has been designed for both farmers and contractors. The well spec’d example is equipped with 800/65 R32 tyres, a heavy-duty SQ150 axle and 420mm x 180mm brakes, side-access hatch and a stone trap for easy cleaning and maintenance. The tanker also features a full-length chassis and weight-sensing parabolic leaf spring.
Coupled with the 2050PR tanker is the 7.7m Agri Pro trailing shoe solution.
The unit itself weighs 900kg and folds to 2.6m for road transport, with a transport height of 3.3m. Features include a self-leveling boom that adjusts to undulating terrain through a central assembly unit.
The unit is mounted via a four-point linkage system to ensure a close coupling to the tanker.
Customers can choose to fit either a Vogelsang or an Alrena macerator.
The Agri Pro range is also available in 9.2m and 10.2m working widths featuring a double fold design. Abbey will also exhibit its 7.7m Flexi-Shoe model, designed for users faced with more challenging terrain.
Other products set to be on display include a 4000RT Premium Plus recessed slurry tanker fitted with a 10.2m Agri Pro trailing shoe, and a 3000R Premium Plus tanker fitted with a 10.7m dribble bar.
The popular Abbey diet feeder range will also be well represented with a number of models on show, including single, double and triple-auger machines.
These will include the single-auger single-axle VF1500 model, twin-auger single-axle VF2100 SD, twin-auger tandem-axle VF2450 Premium Plus and the VF3350 triple-auger tandem-axle model.
