Mid Ulster Auctions is set to hold a large online machinery auction on behalf of Fermanagh-based agricultural contractor JN Contracts.
The auction comes as result of what is believed to be a business restructure, with a large selection of modern tractors, loaders and other grass-related machinery up for grabs.
Online bidding begins on Friday 15 January at 9am.
Bidding on lots will start closing on Tuesday 19 January at 11am, with staggered closing times.
There will also be a timed extension on lots where bids are placed within the closing minute.
A total of 94 lots are catalogued to go under the virtual hammer. Included are 15 tractors, eight John Deeres (2019 6155R x3; 2016 6130M; 2009 6930 and 6830; 2004 6320; and a 1990 registered 3050), three New Hollands (2012 T7.200; 2008 T6070; and a 2001 TM165), three Massey Fergusons (2016 7718; 2016 6615; and a 135) and one other compact tractor.
Among the other grass-related equipment on offer are two self-propelled harvesters, a 2019 Claas Jaguar 870 and a 2011 John Deere 7550, a 2019 Krone Big M 450, a 2018 Case 721G and a 2010 JCB 416S loading shovel, seven silage trailers (five Kane and two Donnelly), two Claas front mowers and one side-mounted Krone mower, two Krone rakes (a 2015 Krone 1400 and a 2016 TC880) and two grass forks.
Additional equipment includes six slurry tankers ranging from 2,000 to 4,500 gallons, two umbilical dribble bars (a 2017 Agquip 12M and a 2020 Agquip 9m), a selection of umbilical hose reelers, Bauer Rohren pump and two agitators, Fiat Hitachi EX135 digger, stone cart, power harrows, an air seeder and a Spearhead hedge cutter.
Customers must register for an account with Mid Ulster Auctions and pay a £2,000 refundable deposit to bid.
The firm also stated that as customer collection and viewing are not permitted due to COVID-19 guidelines, it will offer a click and delivery service at the expense of the purchaser. Lots up to £5,000 are subject to a 15% commission, while hammer prices between £5,001 and £10,000 are subject to 10% commission. All hammer prices in excess of £10,001 are subject to 2.5% commission. All commissions are subject to VAT.
