John Deere has launched its M series front loader range for tractors up to 155hp, designed to be a light and more basic solution in addition to the higher spec R series loaders.
As with the tractor range, the M series suggests a lower specification and lower price in comparison to top-of-the-range R series machines, this being the same case with John Deere’s latest M series loader offerings. The new four model series is aimed at the customer requiring a more basic lightweight loader without having to delve into the higher specification R series models launched back in 2015.
The M series comes equipped with mechanical self-levelling and a slim boom profile which sees all hydraulic hoses routed inside, helping increase visibility.
These new models are said to be 20% lighter than the R series offering, yet quick and manoeuvrable. The 603M model takes only four seconds to reach its full height.
The option is available if required to fit models with boom suspension. As well as this, all M series loaders use the same brackets as the R series variants. Available as of now, John Deere say the new series is designed to fit 5M, 5R, 6M and 6R up to the 6155M/R models.
The smallest of the new series is the 543M, with a lift capacity of 1,450kg and 3.7m lift height. The 603M is rated for 1,700kg, with a lift height of 3.9m. The 623M has a maximum lift of 1,770kg to 4.1 meters while the range topping 643M is rated for 1,880kg with a max lift height of 4.3m.
