New Holland will once again make its presence known at the FTMTA Farm Machinery Show, where it will publicly unveil the all-new T5 Dual Command models for the first time in Ireland.
In September, the fresh-faced five-model lineup, ranging from 80-117hp, broke cover.
The new T5.80, T5.90, T5.110 and T5.120 not only boast new styling, but there have been important updates made below the surface.
Rear-lift capacity has been increased by 7% to 4,700kg, while a new 82l/min hydraulic pump offers 30% more hydraulic flow than before.
Alongside an optional HD front axle, it is now possible to accommodate 38in rear wheels, meaning ground clearance has also been increased.
Other new features include auto-engaging 4WD, auto differential lock, brake-to-neutral function, mechanical cab suspension, new digital instrument cluster and a new wet disc front PTO. A new loader joystick has been fitted with forward and reverse shuttle control buttons, leaving all loader and transmission functions easier.
Models can also be equipped with CustomSteer adaptive steering, which adjusts the number of turns of the steering required relative to the steering angle. A new shaped exhaust and upgraded work lighting package improves visibility.
Telematics and a suite of precision farming technologies are now available. Some of these include guidance, Isobus and the Intelliview 12 touchscreen terminal. New T5 models are also set up for real-time data monitoring via the recently launched New Holland Field Ops platform.
Also on the stand will be a T7.225 short wheel base T7 and a T7.300 long wheel base tractor. The T7.300 was introduced to expand the range further from 270hp without entering the heavier T7 HD range.
With a maximum 300hp on tap, the T7.300 features a heavier front axle over its smaller sibling, and an uprated Auto Command CVT transmission.
Although now welcomed on all LWB T7s, the T7.300 features the new Horizon Ultra cab.
The FTMTA show takes place on 12th, 13th & 14th of November 2024 in Punchestown from 10am to 6pm daily, with the show opened to 8pm on Wednesday.
