It has been confirmed that Irish Simmental Cattle Society chief operations manager Peadar Glennon has handed in his notice.

Simmental members were notified by a text that stated he would be leaving to take up a new opportunity in mid-July.

Having started with the Simmental society 22 years ago, it’s understood that he is now heading to work with the Irish Angus Cattle Society.
