It seems that farmers are still confused about the fodder transport scheme.
I was recently talking to three people involved in the fodder transportation chain – a farmer who sent fodder from the south to the northwest, the lorry driver who transported the fodder in question (who was also a farmer) and the farmer who received the bales.
The farmer in the northwest claimed the transportation wasn’t covered by the new scheme, the lorry driver seemed to think it was covered and the farmer in the south claimed the recipients would be covered if they applied for it.
