IFA president Joe Healy is looking for a farm manager to manage his 80- to 90-cow spring-calving dairy herd.
I understand that the farm manager he first employed after gaining the top office in IFA is off to New Zealand.
Given the Galway man’s love of sport and Galway hurling’s recent big double-win in Croke Park, the new manager better be into sport as well as cows and grass.
I expect he won’t find it too difficult to fill the position.
