The Agricultural Science Association has announced US Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Ted McKinney as the keynote speaker at its annual conference on 7 September.

At a time when the Trump administration is fuelling a global tariff hike war, while negotiating greater access for its soya bean and other agri-food exports, it will be fascinating to hear from the man in charge of developing US agricultural trade. McKinney joins an impressive cast of international speakers for the event in Co Kildare.
