Two farms will be offered for sale by public auction later this month with selling agents REA TE Potterton, Trim.
The first farm is a non-residential holding extending to 21 acres and situated at Higginstown, Athboy, Co Meath. The land, which is all under grass, is laid out in three divisions and accessed via a short laneway off the main road.
Selling agent Thomas Potterton described the property as a “good grazing farm” and is guiding €6,500 to €7,000 per acre.
The second farm being offered for sale is situated at Dundonnell, Rathconrath, Mullingar, Co Westmeath. The lands extend to 42 acres and are currently in tillage.
According to Potterton, the farm is a good block of land that has been “carefully farmed down through the years” with good crop husbandry employed. The farm also comes with a compact two-bay hayshed. A guide price of €7,000 per acre has been set.
So far there has been a good interest in both farms, with a number of enquiries says Potterton. Both farms will be offered for sale by public auction on Wednesday 22 October at 3pm at the Property Exchange, Trim, Co Meath.
