On a visit to the US in May, the Irish Farmers Journal visited numerous different shops to check out some Irish produce and there was plenty on display.
Guinness Draft from St James Gate, Dublin, was on sale in Whole Foods for $8.99 (approximately €8.25) for a pack of four 14.9fl oz (440ml) cans.
In Ireland, the cans would be 500ml in size and retail for about €9 (approximately $9.81).

The Irish whiskey was in prime shelf position in the consumers' eyeline on the middle and high shelves.
In Walmart, which is considered a good value store with good-quality products, we saw the following Irish whiskeys and Irish cream liqueur:
