Last week’s cattle sale at Ulster Farmers Market, Enniskillen, saw another strong entry of stock on offer. Farmer demand was said to be strong, which helped prices. Lightweight bullocks sold mainly from £2.00/kg to £2.51/kg, which was paid for a top-quality 358kg Charolais. Medium-weights sold from £1.90/kg to £2.43/kg, while strong demand for heavy-weight steers saw prices range mainly from £1.80/kg to £2.13/kg.
