Minister for Agriculture Michael Creed has launched Bioeconomy Ireland Week, which aims to highlight Ireland’s bioeconomy through a series of events and activities led by the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment.

The events will take place across Ireland from Friday 11 October to Friday 18 October and will be held in collaboration with the Irish Bioeconomy Foundation, Beacon SFI Bioeconomy Research Centre and the BioConnect Regional Cluster based in Monaghan.

“Following on from last year’s very successful Bioeconomy Ireland Day in Co Tipperary, it is important to highlight the contributions the bioeconomy is making to our primary producers, as well as the agri-food, marine, forestry, waste management, energy, pharma and bio-technology sectors.”
