A number of cattle perished in a fire on a lorry on Sunday evening in Adare, Co Limerick.
Gardaí attended the scene of the incident on Sunday evening at 7.30pm, which happened on the N21.
“A truck was on fire at the scene. Fire services also attended and extinguished the fire.
"A number of animals [are] deceased as a result of the fire.
“No further information available. Enquiries ongoing,” a Garda spokesperson said.
