A general view of the crowd during the Irish Farmers Journal Dairy Day in the UL Sports Arena, Limerick. \ Donal O'Leary

One of the highlights of Dairy Day 2025 was the session with the six co-op chairs, who between them represent 90% of Ireland’s milk pool.
There was plenty of bite in the discussion, with each chair defending their co-op’s position and highlighting the future opportunities open to the sector.
To recognise the significance of having six co-op chairs on the one panel and to give those who weren’t at Dairy Day or who couldn’t get into the forum an opportunity to listen back to the entire session, we have put together this special one-off podcast with the co-op chairs.
