Whole milk powder up 1.7% in latest Global Dairy Trade auction
The GDT price index for whole milk powder rose by 1.7% to an average price of €3,360/t and skim milk powder was up 2.5% to an average price of €2,382/t.
The overall Global Dairy Trade (GDT) price index was up 1.1% to an average price of €3,747/t during Tuesday's auction.
The GDT price index for whole milk powder rose by 1.7% to an average price of €3,360/t and skim milk powder was up 2.5% to an average price of €2,382/t.
Anhydrous milk fat also experienced a rise of 0.8% at this auction with an average price of €5,965/t.

There was no change in GDT price index for butter at an average price of €6,409/t.
The price index for cheddar decreased by 5.6% averaging €3,925/t.
Other products such as lactose and mozzarella also experienced price index drops.
