A man in Donegal has been arrested and charged with setting gorse on fire.
The man in his 50s was arrested by gardaí on Monday 12 May in the Loughanoran area of Annagry, Co Donegal.
Gardaí said they were acting on reports of a man starting a fire outside a property in the area which then spread. Both the gardaí and the fire services were called to the scene and a technical examination was carried out.
The man appeared before An Clochán Liath District Court in Donegal on Tuesday 12 May and was charged.
