Embrace FARM is continuing its good work in Galway on 25 November when it hosts an Accident Support Group meeting in Corralea Court Hotel in Tuam, Co Galway, at 8pm.
This meeting is targeted at families bereaved by farm accidents as well as survivors and witnesses of farm accidents in the Galway, Mayo and Roscommon area.
Embrace is hoping to bring families together so they can build relationships with one another so that they, in turn, can provide support at a local level. Embrace FARM is also hoping to meet lots of new families.

Peter Gohery – a member of IFA and an accident survivor himself as well as a health and safety consultant to the agri and construction sectors – is the meeting facilitator.
This support meeting is informal. There will be personal accounts from people bereaved by a farm accident and survivor accounts, while a professional bereavement counsellor will be available to discuss the impact of loss and trauma on bereaved families.
