Virtual Dairy Day takes next Tuesday 24 November, starting at 11am.The event is free to air on www.ifj.ie/dairyday ,with three shows throughout the day at 11am, 1pm and 8pm. Directly after the three recorded shows we will have live interactive sessions on social to take any questions about any of the content.
There will be nine shows on different topics such as multi-species swards, calf housing, farmyard design and ammonia emissions. There will also be a look inside Kerrygold Park and also a look inside the completely revamped milk powder plant at Mallow, Co Cork.

Teagasc is also hosting a webinar next Tuesday at 10am on making better use of fertiliser nitrogen.
Join a live, interactive panel discussion facilitated by Dr Stan Lalor, which will focus on making better use of fertiliser nitrogen. A new Teagasc report on the efficient use of fertiliser nitrogen will be published after the webinar.
The panellists are: Dr Laurence Shalloo, Teagasc Moorepark; Dr Elodie Ruelle, Teagasc Moorepark; and Dr Owen Fenton, Teagasc Johnstown Castle
