Pedigree Holstein bulls sold to 4,000gns at last week’s autumn sale conducted by Taaffe Auctions in Dungannon Farmers Mart.

The top priced animal, Relough Lisper, was bred by the McLean family. Sired by Claynook Casper and out of the homebred Relough Mogul Lila, this October 2018-born animal was awarded reserve champion prior to the sale.

The supreme champion, which later sold for 3,450gns, was Ards Electric, bred by the Patton family, Newtownards. This October 2018-born animal was sired by OCD Anchorman Lamber and out of the homebred Ards Galaxy Elegance.

Across the sale, bulls made an average of 2,100gns, with a 90% clearance on the 28 animals entered.
