Four agricultural students were each awarded a John Feely scholarship by ICMSA president Pat McCormack on Friday 1 March.
Each scholarship is worth €1,500 and is intended to help students further their education in agriculture.
The scholarship was established to commemorate the memory of the late ICMSA president John Feely.

“The standard we’re seeing in the coming generations of young dairy farmers bodes well for the sector,” ICMSA president Pat McCormack said as he handed out the scholarships.
“They’re technically very strong and committed to building on the standards already achieved.
“ICMSA is delighted to be associated with the John Feely Scholarship programme and we’ll be getting out the details for the 2019 programme in due course.”
This year’s recipients of the scholarship included, Cathal Sheehy from Timoleague, Co Cork; Thomas Conroy, Knockbridge, Co Louth; Thomas Cunniffe, Killimor, Ballinasloe; and Diarmuid Collier, Templetuohy, Thurles, Co Tipperary.
