6. Emma O'Connor

Kildare woman and first-generation goat farmer Emma O'Connor is the manager of Anna's Dairy Goat Farm, which specialises in milking goats for production.

Her Instagram account documents the daily happenings on the farm, which is currently in the middle of kidding season.

7. Louise Crowley

Limerick farmer Louise Crowley is a second-generation dairy farmer from Croom, Co Limerick.

Milking and managing a 150-cow herd alongside her father, the farming enthusiast documents the day-to-day running of the Croom farm through her Instagram account.

8. Aedín Quirke

First-time farmer Aedín Quirke may not come from a farm, but that hasn't stopped her from pursuing her passion for farming.

The Meath native can be found promoting agriculture and sharing weekly updates from the farm she works on.

9. Alice Hodges

Twenty-four-year-old Alice, aka 'The Calf Girl', is originally from Chesire in the UK, but has become a first-generation farmer in Co Kildare.

Alice documents everything from calf-rearing to beef and dairy farming.

10. Anna Truesdale

Co Down dairy farmer Anna Truesdale is passionate about all things agriculture.
