The latest addition to the Landini 5 series is the 5-085. The new model broadens the series with power outputs now ranging from 75hp to 113hp.

Landini has said that the tractor which fits the stockman’s category is a good fit for both farmyard and field operations. Key to the new 5-085 is its 3.4l four-cylinder FPT turbo engine. The compact power plant of the new model meets Stage V emission standards and churns out 375Nm of torque at 1,400rpm.

The 5-085 has been designed with loader use in mind thanks to the low profile cab and transparent roof hatch to provide extra visibility.

Transmission options remain unknown, but if options are to remain the same as existing larger 5 Series models then the Speed Four 12 x 12 and the three stage powershift (high, medium, low) 48 x 16 option which includes a creeper function will be available.

The mechanically controlled hydraulic hitch uses Landini’s integrated ELS (ergonomic lift system). Rear fender mounted controls are also fitted for ease of use, meaning the operator can use the 3,900kg rated rear linkage conveniently from outside the cab when attaching or removing an implement. The front linkage if fitted has a lift capacity of 1,700kg.

The dual hydraulic pump provides management of up to five spool valves (three rear and two mid mounted). A hydraulic flowrate of 56l/min is achieved with 34litres dedicated to the steering system according to the manufacturer.

The new 5-085 benefits from LED lighting and is available with what the firm calls the BlueIcon fit and finish, an exclusive metallic blue livery combined with a wide range of specifications. The Landini Fleet Management telematics system is also compatible with the 5-085.
