Vaderstad will retain its other existing dealers including Atkins Machinery in Cork; JR Perry, Athy; and DA Forgie in Northern Ireland as part of the new arrangements.
Samco wins down under
The Samco System of maize growing has won an International Distinction Award at the New Zealand Field Days this week. Samco attended the show, which is the largest farming show in the southern hemisphere, under the umbrella of Enterprise Ireland.
“I was absolutely delighted to except this award on behalf of all the team back home at Samco,” said a delighted Sam Shine, founder of the Samco business, which is based in Adare, Co Limerick. “Our machines were shipped out to New Zealand in early March in readiness for the event. This award is not only for Samco but I feel it highlights all the Irish innovative companies exhibiting at the Field Days down here so far from Ireland.”
