JM Agri-Design’s TR bale handling range consists of three models, the TR-3, TR-4 and TR-8. The TR-3 and TR-4 are single bale handlers, with the TR-3 designed specifically for tractor loaders. The TR-4 is designed for industrial loaders, as it has a larger mainframe to support industrial head stocks.
The TR-8 is the newest addition to the range. This machine is now going into its third season, where it has already proven itself as a market leader.
The patented design of the TR-8 is user-friendly due to its ability to grip both round and square bales. When handling round bales, the operator can approach a bale from any angle.

However, gripping a round bale on the flat face where there is over double the plastic wrap significantly reduces the risk of damage to the plastic wrap.
By utilising an in-cab control box, the operator can easily switch between left and right arms when either picking up bales in the field or placing them into a stack. In short, the TR-8 significantly reduces driver fatigue, damage to the plastic wrap and halves diesel and labour costs, due to the 115% greater efficiency over conventional loader-mounted bale handling systems.
