Agri Industry Solutions (AIS), the Suffolk based Schuitemaker dealer impressed visitors passing by its stand at Lamma 2026 having showcased a Schuitemaker Siwa forage wagon body married onto a Scania P series rigid tractor unit.

While it’s not a new concept as proven by Northern Irish agricultural contractors Hunniford farms last year with its NC Engineering tipping trailer body built onto a Volvo tractor unit, AIS however feel its solution is the ideal combination for hauling forage.

The chosen body is a 38m3 Schuitemaker Siwa 660 model, with a chain and slat floor unloading system, extended rear door and hydraulic top nets to prevent forage falling out of the body when fully loaded.

The tractor unit is a Scania P410 XT (heavy duty) model equipped with a 12-speed automatic transmission and churning out 410hp. It’s believed that the unit was fitted with a tipper body in a former life. Part of the conversion involved the trucks change of registration to become an agricultural vehicle, meaning it does not require white diesel or a tachograph.

The unit features two rear driven axles with differential locks, and two steering front axles. It has also been kitted out on agri spec tyres for improved traction off-road.
