Farmers, processors and representative organisations have teamed up to establish a campaign called “Meat and Dairy Facts” to provide information about key sectors of Irish agriculture.
Bord Bia, Dairy Industry Ireland, the Irish Creamery Milk Supplier Association (ICMSA), the Irish Farmers Association (IFA), Meat Industry Ireland and the National Dairy Council are all involved in the venture.
Goal

Those involved have a common goal to “promote the health benefits of meat and dairy, to highlight how we constantly strive for sustainability in everything we do and to showcase our pride in our sustainably produced livestock and the care we give them”.
Meat and Dairy Facts will be a resource that explains the role of meat and dairy in people’s diets and “demonstrate why meat and dairy ranks among the world’s best in terms of quality, sustainability and animal care”.
