The Dealer recently heard the news that the founder of the charity Console, Paul Kelly, ran up a bill of nearly €500,000 on luxury items, according to a HSE audit. Some €32,000 raised by Ag Soc in UCD was donated to the charity. For €32,000, Kelly could have bought 33 Victoria Beckham dresses, 42 return flights to New York or 10 Rolex watches. It’s disappointing the work done by Ag Soc may not have been spent as intended.
