Maurice Ryan, business development director at Green Belt, is to take the helm as president at the Irish Bioenergy Association (IrBEA). He takes over as president from Paddy Phelan.

Green Belt is Ireland’s largest private forestry management group.

Since 1982 it has planted more than 400,000ac of commercial forestry for almost 10,000 private and institutional clients across Ireland.
