Carrigallen Macra in Co Leitrim recently celebrated a major achievement, as the club marked 10 years of friendship, fun, and community spirit.
Past and present members gathered for an anniversary banquet that was full of stories, laughter, and nostalgia.
The night captured exactly what Macra is all about – connection, local pride, and a bit of craic along the way. Here’s to another decade of Carrigallen energy and community.
Mayo Macra also brought clubs together in style with a glamping night at Mayo Glamping.
Members travelled from counties as far apart as Louth, Cavan, Monaghan, Waterford, Kilkenny and Kerry to join the fun.
The overnight stay offered a chance to unwind, meet new people, and enjoy a relaxed evening under the stars.
Meanwhile, Three Lakes Macra is looking to rebuild, with an information night planned for Thursday 11 December at 8pm in Fitzpatrick’s Bar, Ballinrobe.
Anyone curious about getting involved is encouraged to pop in for a chat.
In Sligo, Benbulben Macra teamed up with friends from Donegal Bay and South Sligo for a clay pigeon shooting day in Hillstreet, Carrick-on-Shannon.
The outing offered a mix of sport, banter, and rural camaraderie. It was a great way for members to bond outside their usual club activities.

Donegal Macra kept the momentum going with a social night at Arena 7, where bowling and laser quest brought Raphoe and Donegal Bay members together for some light-hearted competition.
North Leitrim Macra have also been putting their best foot forward with Thursday night jiving and line-dancing classes in Dromahair.
With great feedback and strong interest, the club is already planning to return with more classes in the new year.
With big nights ahead in Sligo, including the Macra reunion on 17 January and the Aurivo Northwest Kings & Queens on 24 January, 2026 is shaping up to be a brilliant year for Macra across the region.
