The Department of Agriculture Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme (TAMS) III unit issued correspondence to Farm Advisory System (FAS) advisers on Friday informing them of an extension to the deadline for tranche 11 for certain applications.

The extension until 11.59pm on Friday 13 March 2026 applies to TAMS III applications which were submitted in tranche nine and were unsuccessful in receiving approval in tranche nine or 10.

These applications have now reverted to draft stage and if a farmer wishes for them to be considered for approval under tranche 11, they need to be submitted again by Friday 13 March.

Rolled over

Applications which were submitted under tranche 10 and which are not deemed successful will be automatically rolled over to tranche 11 as per the terms and conditions of the scheme.

This states that an application will be rolled over once and if deemed successful on the second attempt, the application will then revert to draft status.

It is critical to note that the deadline for normal applications under tranche 11 remains Friday 6 March 2026.
