Auctioneer Thomas Potterton from TE Potterton, Trim, will auction three different parcels of land on 5 July next. First up is a 31-acre non-residential piece of ground situated at Kiltoome, Trim, Co Meath. Described as a “really lovely property”, the land is laid out in two grass fields, has good frontage to the old Navan/Trim road and to a cul de sac, and is reported to be the “best of land”. Just half a mile from Trim, it’s suggested the property would make a fabulous site for a house subject to the appropriate planning permission. Kiltoome is guided in the region of €8,000 to €9,000/acre.
38 acres at Clonycurry
Next up is a 38-acre block of land situated at Clonycurry, Enfield, Co Meath. In the same family for a long number of years, the property has been unspoilt with its small quaint fields and an abundance of trees and hedges.
The property will be offered in its entire or in two separate lots. These include the derelict house on circa 12.5 acres, laid out in four fields with good road frontage, guided at €120,000 to €130,000.
The second lot comprises 25 acres, accessed from a hardcore right of way, laid out in five grass fields and is described as “excellent fattening land”. This lot is guided at €8,000 to €10,000/acre.
11 acres near Ballivor
The final parcel is an 11-acre residential holding situated at Cloneycavan, Ballivor. Complete with a derelict house, the land is laid out in a range of small fields that might suit a neighbouring farmer who wants to extend his current holding or somebody who has an interest in forestry.
Located at the end of a cul de sac, the property comes with a derelict residence and is keenly priced with a guide price of €25,000. All three auctions take place on 5 July next at 3pm in the Property Exchange, Trim.
