A 73.5 ac farm at Bunkilla, Donoughmore, Co Cork has come to the market through Daniel Fleming Auctioneer Ltd, bringing a well-located block of land in a strong dairy area.
The farm is laid out in one block and is described as good quality ground. It was previously used for tillage, growing crops such as potatoes and wheat, and has also supported a dairy enterprise in the past.
While the yard and infrastructure remain in place, they are now dated and would require upgrading. Around 10ac of the holding is in mature woodland, positioned centrally within the farm, with the remainder in agricultural use.
Auctioneer Daniel Fleming from Blarney-based David Fleming Auctioneers Ltd, described the property as “a good all-round farm” and noted that while the infrastructure is now out of date, it would suit someone starting a new herd or adding to an existing holding.
The area is well known for milk production with the Dairygold plant in Mallow nearby.
The land is guiding in excess of €15,000/ac, with recent sales in the area reaching up to €20,000/ac.
