This batch of bullocks was drafted on 5 October after a six-week period of concentrate feeding at grass.
They were getting 4kg/day of a 12% crude protein ration.

All of the 50 cattle that were housed for further finishing in November have been slaughtered at this stage, with 41 bullocks being drafted just three weeks after housing, while a batch of nine predominantly Belgian Blue- and Limousin-type heifers were slaughtered the week before Christmas.
