The slurry Kat bale trailer will allow for safer bale transport.

The Slurry Kat bale trailer is nothing new from the floor down where it sits on 550/45R22.5 floatation tyres with various other sizes available to suit different customers’ needs and working conditions.
The tyres and rims are all new and fitted to high-speed axles as standard in order to maximise braking efficiency and safety regardless of the towing tractor’s speed. To further increase safety, side crash bars are fitted along with high-visibility markings and a full LED light package including a rear-facing warning strobe beacon.
The axles are fitted to a full commercial spring suspension system which is in turn fitted to a full-length heavy-duty RHS box section chassis. A rocking beam (bogie) suspension system is also available as an option.

At the front, an adjustable stand underneath is used to keep the trailer level in the field for loading as well as a double coil sprung drawbar and high-tensile towing ring. The increasingly popular spoon hitch is also available as an option. Completing the package underneath is a galvanised toolbox, which is fully lockable, as well as rear mud flaps.
From the floor up is where this trailer differs from a normal bale trailer. A double hydraulic bale clamping system is attached in order to secure the load. This system consists of a full-length heavy-duty steel clamp that is galvanised on each side of the trailer. These clamps lower and rise hydraulically using the spool valves on the tractor.
Secure
The idea is that you lower the clamp down in order to load your trailer and once completed raise it back up into the locked position therefore clamping the bales securely in place. Each side can be controlled independently of each other and lock in place hydraulically with a non-return valve that won’t release even if hydraulic pressure is lost. Completing the clamping system are front and rear 6ft high bale racks. This system removes the need to strap most loads.
