Two farms in Meath and Kildare go under the hammer on 5 October courtesy of Coonan Property.

The Co Meath farm is 33ac at Mulpheddar, Clonard guided at €330,000.

It is just off the R148 Enfield to Kinnegad road, just outside Clonard village and c12km from Enfield. There is easy access to the M4 motorway and the property bounds the motorway on one side. The holding has frontage on to a secondary road.

The land is all in grass and has been farmed to a high standard. It is in three main fields with good hedges. The land is free-draining.

The farm in Kildare is c42.73ac at Millicent, Clane, and it will be offered in lots with a guide price of €20,000/ac. This is a sought-after location between Clane and Sallins, 10km from Naas and the M7 motorway. The farm is close to the Sallins train station.

The farm is in an area of very productive land, much of it in tillage. It’s all in grass. Auctioneer Philip Byrne said that the farm which has been operated to a high standard, has road frontage and has a new cattle handling facility.
