At yesterday’s Women and Agriculture Conference in Killarney, Zoe Kavanagh, chief executive of the National Dairy Council (NDC) and chef Adrian Martin had great banter during their cookery demonstration which showcased the importance and versatility of Irish dairy produce.
There were many laughs throughout, but a serious message was also conveyed about the importance of dairy in the diet.
After the demo, Zoe Kavanagh spoke to Irish Country Living about tackling the anti-dairy campaign and outlined the facts needed to do so: “It is important we ensure the misinformation is clarified and that the questioning consumer is incredibly comfortable consuming Irish dairy produce.”
