A yellow rainfall warning has been issued by Met Éireann for Dublin, Louth, Meath and Wicklow, which is expected to see heavy rain and possible thunder showers in those areas.

The warning will remain in place between 8pm Friday and 6am Saturday.

Spot flooding, difficult travel conditions and outdoor events being affected are to be expected from Friday 5 July at 8pm and will expire on Saturday 6 July at 6pm.
