A 34.2ac holding at Maam East in Co Galway is going for auction. It’s being sold by DNG Martin O’Connor in three lots.

Lot 1 is 4.89ac of elevated land laid out in two fields with a long strip extending on to a hill. The land is suited for grazing. It is enclosed by wire fencing and has good views over the Maam valley. The guide price is €20,000 (c€5,000/ac). Lot 2 is 2.89ac in a rectangular strip which extends to the Bealnabrack River and includes a section of river bed. The land is enclosed by dry stone walls and wire fencing and is fully stock-proof. It is good-quality land used for both grazing cattle and cutting silage.

There is a wide gated entrance with a stone hardcore area inside the gate. The land has good views over the Maam valley and Maam Cross Mart is a 10-minute drive away. The guide price is €20,000 (€6,900/acre).

Lot 3 is 26.42ac in one block located beside the Bealnabrack River. It is grazing land, suited to both cattle and sheep. A stream runs through the land and it has extensive road frontage. The guide price is €40,000 (€1,514/acre).

The auction of the three lots starts at noon on 8 December.
