The location is midway between Mitchelstown and the town of Kilfinnane.

The land is described by the auctioneers as good land best suited to pasture.
It is elevated and free-draining and laid out in six main fields. There is a gravity-fed water supply. The land has frontage on a public road in two places. There are no buildings or entitlements to EU payments.
“The property is only just on the market,” said Eamonn O’Brien, general manager of CCM Property. “It has attracted interest from home and away. The area is part of the Golden Vale, renowned for its fattening ability for beef and for milk production.
“No buildings are being offered with this sale but we could speak with the vendor about the old farmyard, which is a collection of haybarns and lean-tos, if requested.”
