Shares in Glanbia plc have fallen below the €10 mark – the lowest level the company’s shares have traded in almost six years.
In early morning trading on Friday, Glanbia shares slumped 3% to lows of €9.79. The last time Glanbia shares traded at this level was in October 2013.
As recently as last March, Glanbia plc had traded close to highs of €19/share, meaning the company’s value has almost halved in a six-month period.

Glanbia recently issued a profit to warning which has knocked investor confidence in the company.
Kerry Group
Meanwhile, shares in Kerry Group are up 2% this week to €108.50, while Aryzta shares have made some gains this week and are currently trading above €0.70/share.
Shares in convenience food giant Greencore are up 3% this week to just under £2.10, while shares in French dairy giant Danone have fallen slightly below the €80 mark.
On oil markets, the price of Brent crude oil has fallen slightly this week and is currently trading at just over $60/barrel.
